It’s easier to stay unhealthy than to get fit. Fitness requires consistency, dedication and pain. When you are out of shape, it’s painful to get in shape. The body goes through pain as you challenge its muscles, joints and organs. It’s painful to eat healthy when your body craves sugar, caffeine, and bad fats. Many cannot maintain weight loss or an exercise routine because they won’t push pass the temporary “pain” of change. Diets have an end date but there are no such things when your goals are overall health and wellness

So if you foolishly adopt a substandard diet or any FAD Diets that Perform for the sake of a quick loss of weight, you will get no permanent outcomes. And if you go on a starvation diet, you are bound to shed some fat Yet you will also shed with it a considerable quantity of lean tissue. For that reason, you will be punishing your self by going on an overly drastic lowering diet. Please do not do this.

deepcriestodeep:

I rarely eat white or wheat bread.  I choose Ezekiel bread over the two.  It takes getting used to because most of our taste buds were conditioned to eat refined, soft, gooey breads.
Before my workouts, I toast a piece of Ezekiel bread and spread some natural peanut butter and sliced bananas.  It fuels my body enough to give me the energy to spin, circuit train or weight lift.
Here is a great article from Live Strong: Sprouted Bread vs Whole Wheat Bread if you want to learn more-http://www.livestrong.com/article/431712-sprouted-grain-bread-vs-whole-wheat/

Sugar In Food: 8 Eats With More Than A Twinkie

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/10/sugar-in-food_n_1413206.html?ref=fb&ir=Health+and+Fitness&ncid=edlinkusaolp00000009&src=sp&comm_ref=false

In February, McDonald’s oatmeal was “outed” for having more sugar than a Snickers bar, despite being marketed as a “healthier” breakfast option than some of the fast-food chain’s more well-known fare.

In 2009, the American Heart Association recommended that women eat or drink no more than 20 grams of added sugar a day, and men no more than 36 grams. That means one Snickers bar, at 30 grams of sugar, would be about all the sugar the average man should eat in an entire day. For women, that’s equivalent to about one Twinkie, which will set you back 18 grams.

Eating much more than that has been linked not only to obesity, but to high blood pressure, and elevated levels of fat and cholesterol in the blood.

You probably wouldn’t go around eating more than one Snickers, or even a Snickers every day, but it is still easy to overdo it when it comes to sweets — and fast, too, considering all the places, like that morning oatmeal, that sugar is hiding. Here are eight foods with more sugar than a Twinkie to watch out for.

I call Fad Diets the ” Let Me Balloon Later Diet.”  You lose the weight temporarily without developing healthy habits for a lifetime.  Fad dieters lose the weight only to “balloon back the weight” when they stop the fad diet.  I believe in developing healthy habits that are sustainable over one’s life.  Learning to eat healthy and exercising regularly is the key. Diets may make the scale go down but we need to exercise to strengthen the heart and muscles.
Losing weight without exercising does nothing to address flabbiness. Flab is flab and it is not pretty. Impatience and laziness motivate fad dieters. Discipline and dedication motivate those who desire a healthy lifestyle.
